How to Watch DIRTVision with Chromecast
You can watch DIRTVision on your TV using Chromecast from a mobile device, Android screen mirroring, or the Chrome browser on a computer.
Cast from the DIRTVision Mobile App- Make sure your mobile device and Chromecast are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open the DIRTVision app and start playing a video.
- Tap the Cast icon in the player.
- Select your Chromecast device from the list.
- The video will begin playing on your TV.
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Go to the DIRTVision website and log in.
- Start playing a video.
- Click the Chrome menu (three dots in the top-right corner).
- Select Cast.
- Choose your Chromecast device.
- Select whether you want to cast your tab or your entire screen.
- Open the Google Home app on your Android device.
- Select your Chromecast device.
- Tap Cast my screen.
- Confirm by tapping Cast screen.
Your device screen will now be mirrored on your TV.
Troubleshooting Tips- Ensure your Chromecast and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Restart your Chromecast, router, and device if casting fails.
- Make sure the DIRTVision app and Chrome browser are updated to the latest version.
- Close and reopen the app if the Cast icon does not appear.
Note: At this time, we do not support Chromecast devices that some TVs have built-in. While it may work, our player is not developed to support this and we cannot troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Only external Chromecast devices are officially supported. While there is no comprehensive list of supported and unsupported models, if you provide the model number to our Support team, we are happy to check for you.
