What Is This Random or Unique Apple ID Email Address?

If you selected “Hide My Email” while using Sign in with Apple for DIRTVision, Apple creates a unique, random email address for your account.

This Apple-generated email is still linked to your Apple ID email address, so you will continue to receive verification codes and account emails through your normal Apple email inbox.

If Customer Support is trying to locate your account and you used “Hide My Email,” you may need to provide the Apple-generated email address associated with DIRTVision.

 

How to Find Your “Hide My Email” Address

For Apps & Websites Using “Sign in with Apple”

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  • Tap your Apple ID (your name at the top)
  • Select Sign in with Apple
  • Find DIRTVision in the list
  • View the unique email address Apple created for your account

 

For iCloud+ Users (Manually Created Hide My Email Addresses)

  • Open the Settings app
  • Tap your Apple ID
  • Go to iCloud
  • Select Hide My Email
  • View the list of generated email addresses and where they are being used

 

Does My Device Need a Certain Update?

Yes. The Hide My Email feature requires iOS 15 or later.

To check for updates:

  • Open Settings
  • Select General
  • Tap Software Update
  • Install any available iOS updates
