Why wasn't I charged in USD?
If you purchased DIRTVision through a third-party platform such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Amazon, or Roku, and were charged in a currency other than USD, this is due to the billing system of that platform.
Third-Party Billing Platforms
All in-app and device-based subscriptions are processed by third-party platforms, including:
- Apple (App Store)
- Google (Google Play)
- Amazon
- Roku
DIRTVision does not process or control billing for these purchases.
Why Currency May Be Different
The currency you are charged depends on the settings and region of your third-party account, not your physical location.
These platforms may:
- Charge in your local currency based on account region
- Apply regional pricing tiers instead of direct USD conversion
- Include local taxes or service fees
- Use exchange rates set by the platform, which may differ from market rates
Example: If your Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku account is set to a country outside the United States, your purchase may be processed in that local currency even if the original price is displayed in USD.
What to Do If You Have Questions
If you believe your charge is incorrect or unexpected, please contact the support team for the platform you used to complete the purchase (Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku), as they manage all billing and currency conversions.
DIRTVision Support is unable to modify or refund third-party transactions.
